Box L Guest Ranch Tour or stay at one of the most historical, beautiful private ranches in Northwest Nebraska. Located in the scenic Pine Ridge area, just north of Chadron. The Box L has been owned by the same family since it was homesteaded in 1884. Shop in the hand hewn log cabin store, see the large herd of buffalo, spot the twin calves.

Guests are welcome to help with cattle drives, roundups, doctoring, fencing, and even brandings. We have 4 wheeler rides, arrowhead hunting, rock climbing, hiking, target practice, varmint hunting, and a great facility for swimming and fishing large mouth bass. While you fish or play horse shoes, let the kids enjoy the “Great Fort,” swimming, and play ground. Plan to stay in the “Wolf Den,” our new apartment in a 100 year old, three story barn. It has a complete modern kitchen and bathroom with your own private washer and dryer. Listen to the coyotes howl at night and watch the turkeys gobble in the morning.
